The concept of subverting a character creator screen in a game to represent insecurity/body dysmorphia was so smart and really effective emotionally. And the conversation that followed was also interesting, and I love the idea of having a conversation with a version of yourself. Part of me wishes that the game was a few minutes longer, but I also appreciate that the short length encourages people to replay it multiple times.

I enjoyed playing through this game several times, not just to try more appearances, but also to pay closer attention to the dialogue. The first time, I had an urge to click through quickly to see the conversation unfold, but playing again more slowly allowed me to appreciate it more. I liked imagining the "player" as different combinations of the "me" and "you" speakers, and trying to determine how (and if) they acted differently from one another. Of course, because of this ambiguity I did get confused a few times with who said what, or what the topic of conversation was, which is the tradeoff for a densely layered experience like this

I like the concept and while I think it could've gone on a little longer it was a good length.

Having a conceptual character creator like this is really cool. I love internal dialogue and a protagonist arguing with themselves. I enjoyed the art as well.

Love the beginning. I think the division of the 'me' and the 'you' as different speakers is really interesting. That being said, despite knowing they are the same person, since they were being separated, I expected a little more differentiation just because of that divide you're imposing onto them...maybe it's just me, though. I think the length of this is actually quite nice and would feel a little less abrupt if it had just some simple background ambience beyond the faucet running that faded out before the ending hit. Regardless, I enjoyed the conversation that was had.

The introduction was really jarring in a good way. It hurts to have the body you worked to create get ripped away, and that seems like it was what you were going for.  I also really liked the changing facial expressions on 'you' 's face.  They felt subtle in a way that was real.

It's my second time playing the game, once again I really enjoyed the character creator. I hadn't gotten to read through the story in the version I demoed, I liked the philosophy of it and what it had to say about sense of self and feelings of dysmorphia, I think the length would feel less abrupt if there were different ways the conversation could go depending on our choices, but I understand that a lot of time and effort went into the character sound and background art. All in all I think you made a solid game.

It was fun choosing what you'd like to look like. I also empathize with the protagonist as they ruminate about what they could look like alongside how they feel frustrated with how they pick apart themself.

i love the concept, and i feel like the character creator was really well implemented. the length also didn't stand out to me, it felt like a really well-contained story

I love the idea of using a character creator as a way of exploring body dysmorphia, and getting it to work in Renpy is impressive, I really like it!
